Rotterdam, 12 Nov 2018 – The Board of EIT Health (Co-Location Belgium-Netherlands) has selected the Ergotrics project for the EIT Health Headstart funding.
“The project has been studied by at least 3 reviewers,” explains Prof. Dr. Bart Haex, businesss creation manager EIT Health, “Based on the feedback of these investors, tech transfer experts and entrepreneurs, we are glad to announce that EIT Health has decided to award the project that Ergotrics recently submitted under the HeadStart instrument.”
Inge Bruynooghe, CEO Ergotrics: “Next to the project funding, which is critical at this phase of market preparation, we also got valuable feedback from the reviewers. They recognize that Ergotrics has a promising patented technology addressing a clear clinical need. They also acknowledge that the platform solution is scalable and can target different niche markets (e.g. home care). The positive feedback of these external experts strengthens our business plan and ambition.”
The award will be used for trademark protection, patent strategy implementation and legal advice for the commercialization of our products. The project has a value of €50.000 and will be executed before September 2019.
