A patient-tailored solution for safe intubation of bariatric patients!

Backpain when positioning bariatric patients?

Intubating bariatric patients can be challenging, particularly in achieving a clear and straight view of the trachea. Every patient is unique, and optimal positioning is key to successful intubation. But tilting and lifting heavy weight patients is an ergonomic burden for you and your team!

There is a better way – use inflatables! The DuoRoll is a reusable inflatable cushion with two separate compartments. By inflating or gently deflating the two sections, clinicians can achieve an ideal angle for intubation, ensuring both safety and efficiency.  By using compressed air instead of manual power, caregivers can gently and effectively lift or reposition the patient, reducing physical strain and improving comfort for both the patient and medical staff.

As an alternative to placing pillows under the pelvis and lower legs, our team came up with the idea of working with a cylindrical pillow that lies under the alternate mattress, which you can inflate with compressed air

Interposition graft for popliteal aneurysm is favorable in prone position. The Inflatable Prone Support (IPS) and Inflatable Board (IBO) make proning and the prone position possible even for patients with high BMI and large abdominal circumference. Using compressed air offers a big ergonomic advantage! Ergonomics are important for medical and supporting staff!

We can now easily reposition the patient alone. Before we needed two, sometimes three nurses.  The advantage of the Morphemat for the patient? Its back is supported from neck to legs and not at two points.  See our video testimonial
